Description

Get to know Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure. Through these Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) provide a Web Application Programming Interface (API) with a database in the cloud that contains the data that the Web API will use.

This course is not intended to build a RESTful web API in ASP.NET Core 6 from scratch but to migrate a Web API to the cloud.

Prerequisites

It is recommended that the participant is familiar with the C# programming language, database, Entity Framework, RESTful APIs and ASP.NET Web API.

Course Outline

This module will introduce to cloud computing in a generalist way.

This module will introduce to DevOps concepts using GitHub.

Analyze requirements before moving to the Cloud.

This module will introduce infrastructure as code and tools to support orchestration.

This module will introduce Storage-as-a-Service(STaaS).

This module will introduce to Database-as-a-Service (DBaaS).

This module will introduce to computing services in virtual machines.

This module will introduce to computing services in Web Application.

This module will introduce to computing services in containers.

This module will introduce microservice and serverless services like Function-as-a-service (FaaS), API Gateway, events and messages.
